I’m guest blogging today at the incredibly talented (also searingly smart and definitely kind) Yasmine Galenorn’s blog. You may wonder how we met. I mean, we’re unlikely looking pals. I’m older than her, an
d have a definite dowager air. She’s hip and cool. Well, for the record, we were never formally introduced. It was simply a case of me following instinct. At RT 2012, I saw an attractive dark haired woman sitting on a bench. I had no idea who she was, but she had the most striking artwork on her body. Usually, I’m not so forward, but somehow I found myself threading past the people encircling her and plopping myself down beside her. Completely uninvited. On a narrow bench, so we were shoulder to shoulder. Truly curious, I pointed to one of her tats and asked her about it. And that was the start of a new friendship. I don’t think we even exchanged names till later that night. That’s the way things go at conventions, and why I keep saying–save up your pop cans, people–so you too can meet authors at conventions!
Anyhow, Yasmine kindly offered me a place today at her guest blog. Why don’t you head over there to find out how I got kicked out of the choir? Read The Choir and the Cedar Closet.

I loved your guest post at Yasmine’s blog. Bought the e-book of “The Trouble With Fate” and am loving it:)
So happy to have found another urban fantasy/mystery genre cross over, it’s my favorite sub-genre.
